And the past few weeks have been full of news for the Home Bistro team.
First…
They’ve just hit a huge milestone in their Regulation A+ offering.
Last week, they were sitting at ~$1.2m in commitments.
Now, they have officially crossed $4m in commitments (and will accept up to $7.5m as part of this offering).

On August 30th, 2021, Home Bistro announced they hired Executive Chef Amy Hedayatpour to redevelop its private label “Home Bistro” brand meals.
Chef Amy graduated from Cordon Bleu Paris and achieved the position of Chef de Partie with Guy Savoy, a three Michelin Star Parisian restaurant. After Guy Savoy, Chef Amy worked at Le Bernadin in NYC, also a three Michelin Star restaurant, as a Chef de Partie. She has also opened three restaurants in San Francisco.
Home Bistro CEO Zalmi Duchman stated,
“As part of our recent transition to fresh delivered meals, we believe this was the opportune time to redevelop and update some of the older recipes from our private label “Home Bistro” brand.
Chef Amy was a perfect fit for us given her experience working with iconic Michelin star restaurants, her culinary passion and creativity.”

After announcing second quarter earnings on August 17th, Home Bistro announced they had over 50% increase in customer reorder rate!
Which, for a consumer-packaged goods company is a big deal.
Home Bistro CEO Zalmi Duchman stated,
“Customer reorders is a foundational and critical factor in building a successful direct to consumer platform.
Since we implemented stricter quality control measures earlier this year, we’ve experienced a more than 50% increase in our customer reorder rate, with a 20% increase for the month of August alone when we transitioned to fresh meal delivery.”

New celebrity chef announced! Chef Richard Blais joins Home Bistro!
This marks the sixth chef to join an already impressive roster of culinary talent.
Home Bistro CEO Zalmi Duchman stated,
“We are excited to add Chef Richard to our growing roster of celebrity chefs. His stature in the culinary world and vibrant personality, make him a perfect fit for the Home Bistro platform.

Richard Blais is a successful chef, restaurateur, James Beard nominated cookbook author and television personality.
Blais, widely recognized as the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and recently announced co-star of the new Gordon Ramsay / FOX cooking competition, Next Level Chef, has graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and trained at such famous establishments as The French Laundry, Daniel, Chez Panisse, and el Bulli.
Blais is a regular on the Food Network, with recurring appearances on Guy’s Grocery Games as a judge, and as a competitor, and has also hosted Food Network’s Hungry Games, and Halloween Baking Championship.
He also has a recurring role as judge in the Masterchef and Masterchef Junior franchise.
